Pack Structures There are many different types of pack structures exhibited in Asara, however the following two are the most common and are, typically, used as bases for other structures.
Family Packs Family packs generally form around a mated pair and their children. The pair make most decisions and lead, due to their status as the parents of most of the members of the pack. Generally, there is very little aggression between wolves in these pack structures, due to the fact most of the wolves are related or welcomed in as friends or mates of offspring. There is typically no eating order, however in general pups and the elderly will be allowed to eat first. Wolves can freely leave at any time, and also there are many occasions of several related family packs sharing a single territory.
Hierarchical Pack These packs are generally made up of many unrelated individuals and are formed for many reasons, though in general survivability is the most common. They're divided by ranks, which are typically earned through fighting and shows of strength. Generally, the eating order is determined through these rankings as well, and only certain wolves are allowed to breed. Most packs use a variety of rankings, but two are always present: The Alphas, who are typically but not always a mated pair, who control the pack and make most if not all decisions. The Betas, the second in commands, who help the Alphas manage their affairs and manage smaller, everyday pack activities. They are generally not a mated pair. THANKS BEE
